HBL Suspensions: Chris Watts & Jordan Carter (Devils) and Adrian Rattlesnake & Bowdrie Roan (Stars) each suspended for 1 game for fighting.
As a result of an incident that occurred during the Stars/Devils game on Thursday, December 14, 2017, the League has issued a 1 game suspension to each of the following players: Chris Watts, Jordan Carter, Adrian Rattlesnake, and Bowdrie Roan. Watts, Carter, Rattlesnake, and Roan were given major penalties and game misconducts for fighting. The League’s decision is based on discussions with the referee and team reps from each team.
The suspensions will be served on Monday, December 18, 2017 by Rattlesnake and Roan in the Stars’ game against the Rangers and on Thursday, January 11, 2018 by Watts and Carter in the Devils’ game against the Wings.
HBL suspensions cannot be appealed.
In addition, the league is reminding all teams that players under the age of 18 are not permitted to play in HBL games. Under no circumstances is this acceptable. Teams are expected to handle this themselves by never allowing an underage player to participate as a member of their team. Further, if you think an opposing team has a player who is less than 18 years old, you are expected to bring it to the referee’s attention before starting the game or as soon as possible. Moving forward, stiff penalties will be issues to teams breaking this rule.
